Herbal Gynaecology

anatomy & physiology, MENSTRUAL HEALTH,
common GYNAECOLOGICAL conditions & HERBAL MEDICINE.
for women, gender non-binary and trans folks for whom the subject is of relevance.

The next course will start on Thursday evenings from November 11th and finishes on December 9th

We have adapted this four week course to enable us to teach it online, as we want to continue getting this important information out despite not having the usual classroom settings available. The new way we teach this course is by sending a selection of teaching videos and written material each week, followed by an online Q&A the week after.

You will receive the first class on the Thursday November 11th November and then we will follow this up the following week on the 18th November with a live online Q&A once you've had a chance to watch and read the material.

For each class, you will have a week to watch the videos in your own time with accompanying written material, and then a chance to ask any questions and have a discussion together with your fellow students.  We have already taught this course earlier this year and it was a great experience.

The Q and A will be between 7.30-8.30pm by zoom on Thursday evenings, starting on Thursday 18th November and ending on Thursday December 9th. These sessions will be recorded and will be sent out to you afterwards.

We combine our passion in empowering people to get to know more about their bodies and menstrual cycles, with years of clinical herbal practise.

This course will look at the menstrual cycle, tools for charting hormonal health, radical understandings of what gets called female anatomy, herbs for gynecological health, related herbs for common related health conditions.  We are really conscious that this information is important and relevant, regardless of sexuality or age.

Alongside the herbs we teach self-care techniques, like castor oil packs and herbal sitz baths, and nutritional approaches to common conditions. You will learn how to make a herbal mineral tonic at home.

The aim of this course is for you to come away feeling more self-empowered in supporting your own health needs.

This course seeks to reflect diverse experiences of gender in the different bodies we all inhabit. The course is aimed at people who were assigned female at birth* whether identifying as a cis woman, gender non-binary or trans, for whom the issues are of interest.
* i.e. The sex you are when you are born, which may not be the gender you identify with.
