The next foundation course runs on Thursday evenings between 14th January and 25th February. NOW FULLY BOOKED.
We have adapted our six week Foundation course to enable us to teach it online, as we want to continue getting this important information out despite not having the usual classroom settings available. The new way we teach this course is by sending a selection of teaching videos and written material each week, followed by an online Q&A the week after.
You will receive the first class on the Thursday 14th January and then we will follow this up on the 21st January with a live online Q&A once you've had a chance to watch and read the material.
For each class, you will have a week to watch the videos in your own time with accompanying written material, and then a chance to ask any questions and have a discussion together with your fellow students. We have already taught the Foundation Herbal Course in this format several times, and its always been a great experience.
The Q and A will be between 7.30-8.30pm by zoom on Thursday evenings, starting on Thursday 21st and ending on Thursday February 25th. These sessions will be recorded and will be sent out to you afterwards.
We have always taught this course as a hands-on course that will give you the practical skills to start building your first herbal medicine chest. In order to adapt the course to the online environment, we will explain each practical medicine making task so that you can make medicines at home with the herbs that grow around you, sometimes using dried and sometimes fresh herbs.
This online format means that people who don’t live near Bristol are now able to participate in our courses more easily, which is something that people have been asking us for some time.
